We are seeking a proactive and passionate individual who is committed to advancing social impact and knowledge generation. In this role, you will support the development of learning content, evidence-based research, and knowledge-sharing initiatives at Yayasan Hasanah. You will help ensure the effective delivery of learning and knowledge management processes while contributing to the development of a sustainable ecosystem that promotes continuous learning, collaboration, and capacity building across the social sector.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer learning asset lifecycle management: Planning, coordination, and review of learning materials - including publications, e-learning videos, feature articles, and case studies - to ensure all learning content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Support the management and daily operations of Hasanah's learning management system and Knowledge hub, including user database upkeep and tracking of progress via pilot testing, to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Assist in research grant administration, maintaining effective communication and coordination with internal teams, grantees/partners and other stakeholders to support smooth implementation to timelines.
- Provide coordination and administrative support for MLEK team, partner engagement and capacity-building activities.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of monthly reports and dashboard updates, including reporting requirements and tools for internal teams and partners.
- Support the management of stakeholder relationships, including partners, vendors, and stakeholders, to resolve platform issues, track deliverables, and manage helpdesk enquiries.
- Provide administrative support for procurement processes, ensuring deliverables are met in accordance with internal finance, procurement, and legal requirements.
- Support in carrying out MLEK-related duties, including the development of presentation decks, briefing materials, and flexible support across MLEK workstreams, as required by the HoD/Senior Managers to ensure departmental goals are met.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in development studies, communications/ journalism, project management, or a related social science field.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in content creation, learning event facilitation, knowledge management, digital platforms, programme coordination, and related fields. Experience in developing learning content in a non-profit organisation or foundation will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and well organised.
- Proficient in project management; able to working within cross-functional teams with internal and external partners and vendors.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively, providing clear written and verbal communication.
- Basic knowledge or experience in the non-profit sector and research.
- Basic understanding of social / policy issues in Malaysia, and data analysis.
- Willingness and agility to learn and assist in various initiatives, with a solution-focused mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to adapt to new tools and technologies; experience with LMS platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia; familiarity or experience working with government operations and protocols is a plus.
- Strong self-motivation to learn and adapt and contribute to the growth of the Knowledge pillar.
