Responsible for managing Third Party Bodily Injury (TPBI) motor claims, ensuring fair settlements, regulatory compliance, and quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, investigate, and negotiate Third Party Bodily Injury (TPBI) motor claims within the Company's authorized limits and guidelines.
- Ensure claims are handled fairly, promptly, and cost-effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Review and maintain appropriate claims reserves and provide regular updates on claim status and developments.
- Liaise closely with claimants, intermediaries, solicitors, adjusters, medical practitioners, and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient claims resolution.
- Appoint and manage panel solicitors and adjusters where necessary to support claims handling and litigation matters.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and claims management standards.
- Pursue recovery opportunities and assist in minimizing claims leakage and overall claims costs.
- Maintain accurate claims records and documentation while ensuring proper filing and retention of claims correspondence.
- Support the department in achieving service standards, quality objectives, and other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- LLB (Hons) qualification.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in insurance claims, legal practice, or a related field.
- Good understanding of insurance claims and legal principles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work independently.
