Senior Executive – Corporate Banking & Real Estate

In line with our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented, driven, and committed lawyers to join our Dispute Resolution Practice Group to take leading roles in our Employment and Industrial Relations practice area. This position will be based out of our KL Office but the successful candidate must be prepared to travel for work.

Senior Executive – Corporate Banking & Real Estate

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in corporate banking.
• Strong working knowledge of subsale, loan/financing documentation, and security documents.
• Familiar with land office procedures, stamp office processes, and banking documentation.
• Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple transactions under tight timelines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with team members, clients, banks, and developers.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to guide junior executives and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review banking documentation and agreements related to financing, including sale and purchase agreements where relevant
• Manage documentation and processes related to banking, land office, and stamp office requirements from taking instruction until completion of the transaction
• Communicate effectively with lawyers, clients, banks, developers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth transaction flow
• Monitor timelines and ensure transactions are completed accurately and efficiently
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior clerks and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Support the team in transactions involving multiple agreements and financing structures, ensuring all documentation aligns with client instructions and regulatory requirements
