Role Description The Senior Executive, Project Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Pelabuhan Klang. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing port development projects, including infrastructure upgrades, process improvements, and technology initiatives. The role involves conducting feasibility studies, preparing business cases, and supporting project budgeting and resource planning. The Senior Executive works closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects align with strategic objectives and comply with relevant standards. Daily activities include monitoring project timelines and risks, preparing reports and presentations for management, and contributing to continuous improvement of project management practices.
Qualifications
- Project management and project development skills, including experience in planning, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure or logistics-related initiatives.
- Analytical and research capabilities to conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and authorities.
- Knowledge of port operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably within a multi-purpose or container port environment.
- Proficiency in using productivity and reporting tools (e.g., MS Office, project management software) and comfort with technology-driven solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Pelabuhan Klang, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic operational environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in line with organizational standards and regulations.
