Job Description

The Senior Executive, Record‑to‑Report (RTR) will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial accounting, reporting, and period‑end close activities. This role supports regional finance operations and works closely with internal stakeholders and shared services teams, including Mandarin‑speaking counterparts across the Asia‑Pacific region.

The client is a leading multinational consumer durables and appliances organisation with a strong global presence regionally The company designs, manufactures, and distributes a wide range of home solutions, serving both consumer and professional markets worldwide. The organisation operates a regional business and shared services hub supporting finance, accounting, supply chain, and business operations for multiple markets across the region.

Description

  • Execute month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, accruals, and suspense accounts.
  • Ensure general ledger integrity and resolve reconciling items promptly.
  • Support preparation of statutory, management, and group reporting deliverables.
  • Ensure accounting treatments comply with IFRS, local statutory requirements and accounting policies.
  • Support audit activities by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of internal controls and SOX‑related requirements (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with business units, shared services, and regional finance teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
  • Communicate financial insights, clarifications, and issue resolutions clearly and professionally.
  • Identify & Support system enhancements, standardisation initiatives, and process documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and service‑level agreements.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in RTR, financial accounting, or shared services environment (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of general accounting, period end close and balance sheet reconcilliations.
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English to support regional stakeholders
