Job Purpose
- Support the implementation of commercial and operational activities within the assigned region to achieve business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, local authorities, and key stakeholders to support business development and service delivery.
- Identify customer needs and market opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams to support sales and business growth initiatives.
- Coordinate and monitor regional site rollout activities, ensuring timely execution with HQ and cross-functional teams.
- Track regional business performance, prepare reports, and support the achievement of operational and revenue targets.
- Assist in resolving regional operational issues, supporting landlord-related matters, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Support the implementation of regional business and operational plans to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and support the development of new business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to provide market insights and identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, local authorities, and business partners to support customer satisfaction and business development.
- Prepare reports, business updates, and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the effective delivery of products, services, and regional initiatives.
Operational Management
- Coordinate and monitor the execution of operational activities within the assigned region to achieve agreed KPIs and service standards.
- Support the monitoring of regional operational performance, including site management and maintenance activities.
- Assist in resolving operational issues by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Financial Management
- Monitor regional business performance and provide basic analysis to support sales and operational planning.
- Support budget monitoring and cost control initiatives within the assigned region.
- Prepare periodic reports on regional performance, sales activities, and operational metrics for management review.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support profitability initiatives.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Commercial, Rollout, Property Management, Operations, and other internal teams to support regional business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure the timely execution of projects and customer deliverables.
- Facilitate communication between regional stakeholders and HQ to resolve operational and customer-related matters.
Regional Dashboard (Finance)
- Support the monitoring and reporting of regional business performance, including revenue, site rollout progress, colocation, Built-to-Suit (B2S), revenue assurance, and other assigned KPIs.
- Maintain accurate regional records and provide timely performance updates to management.
Rollout & Landlord Cost
- Coordinate regional site rollout activities, including B2S, Colocation, upgrades, decommissioning, and regulatory projects, in collaboration with HQ and relevant teams.
- Support landlord engagement and work with the Property Management team on site rental optimization initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of site approvals, permits, and legalization activities by coordinating with relevant internal teams and local authorities.
- Escalate project risks, delays, and operational issues to management and support timely resolution.
Qualification, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, IT, Engineering, Operations or equivalent/ MBA from a recognized local or foreign university.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales/business development role.
- Experience within the relevant sector or industry, providing context and understanding of specific market challenges and opportunities.
- Good understanding of the telecommunications industry and managed services business models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Good understanding of the local market and customer landscape within the region.
- Ability to present ideas and convince stakeholders. An analytical mind that is able to contextualize requirements and problems and develop methodical and logical solutions.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive alignment towards common strategic goals.
- Possess strategic mindset, with clear and crisp articulation of thought.
- Strong project management skills to oversee and coordinate multiple strategic projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
