What You'll Do
- Bring our sustainability vision to life by supporting sustainability initiatives and ESG programs that align with Daikin's strategic goals and meet external compliance standards.
- Contribute to Carbon Accounting and Sustainability Reporting projects, using industry-recognized calculation tools to turn data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with a diverse network of partners from government agencies to NGOs and associations to co-create and enable responsible, future-ready climate solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to collect, analyze, and verify data for reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives, ISO management systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Keep projects moving forward track milestones, flag roadblocks early, and celebrate achievements along the way.
- Help design and deliver events, campaigns, and communication efforts that spark awareness and inspire action inside and outside the company.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field bonus points if you hold certifications in GHG accounting, ISO 14064, or sustainability reporting.
- 23 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, carbon accounting, or related roles.
- Up-to-date knowledge of sustainability trends, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with carbon accounting tools, climate-related financial disclosures, GHG accounting and frameworks like the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.
- Background in the HVAC industry or in ESG-related projects especially Carbon Accounting and Sustainability Reporting is a strong plus.
- Skills in stakeholder engagement and cross-sector collaboration, ideally including public-private partnerships.
