Sunway REIT are seeking a proactive sustainability professional to support the company's ESG strategy through sustainability reporting, ratings, and CSR initiatives. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate data, strengthen sustainability performance, and promote sustainability awareness across the business.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Sustainability Report Preparation
- Coordinate and assist in the end-to-end process of developing the annual Sustainability Report.
- Ensure alignment with relevant sustainability frameworks and standards.
- Draft clear, concise, and engaging sustainability narratives, performance highlights, and case studies.
Sustainability Ratings / Awards Submission
- Conduct rating gap analysis and propose improvement required to improve the ratings.
- Prepare and submit for Sustainability ratings / awards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to obtain required information and updates.
- Support communication and awareness initiatives related to sustainability within the company.
Data Collection, Documentation & Reporting
- Keep track of business units sustainability initiatives for reporting purposes
- Assist in preparing materials for internal presentations, audits, and external stakeholders as required.
Others
- Plan and execute Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
- Support the head of department in preparing materials for meetings.
- Any other adhoc work relating to sustainability when required.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or corporate communications is preferred.
- Diploma holders with relevant experience can be considered.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, SDGs, IFRS) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with sustainability ratings (e.g. FTSE4Good, CDP, MSCI) is an advantage.
- Knowledge in QESH Management, HIRARC, ESH, legal & other rerquirements and EHS practices are added advantage.
