Job Summary:
The Senior Executive, Talent Acquisition (Academic Hiring) is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for academic positions, ensuring the institution attracts, selects, and hires high-calibre faculty members and academic professionals. This role partners closely with academic leaders to understand workforce requirements, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Academic Hiring
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for academic positions, including lecturers, senior lecturers, associate professors, professors, researchers, and academic leadership roles.
- Partner with Deans, Heads of Schools, and Hiring Managers to identify hiring needs and establish recruitment plans.
- Develop compelling job advertisements and post vacancies across appropriate recruitment platforms and academic networks.
- Source candidates through job portals, professional associations, academic conferences, social media, and talent pipelines.
- Screen applications, conduct initial assessments, and coordinate interviews.
- Facilitate selection processes, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and reference checks.
- Coordinate and monitor new application and renewal of Teaching Permits for academic staff.
2.Stakeholder Management
- Provide recruitment consultation and market insights to hiring managers.
- Ensure timely communication with candidates and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
3.Administrative Responsibilities
- Prepare recruitment reports and dashboards for management.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment documentation.
- Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned byt HR Manager.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
- At least 2–3 years of experience recruiting academic or higher education positions is preferred.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment independently.
