About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Executive, General Ledger (GL) to join our finance team. The Senior GL will support the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in the month-end close process. Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Execute and oversee daily cash and treasury transactions, ensuring timely and accurate recording.
- Monitor and manage cash flow positions, liquidity requirements, and funding availability to support business operations.
- Prepare and enhance cash flow forecasts, budgets, and liquidity reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Analyze financial and treasury data, preparing regular management reports and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making.
- Support the management and monitoring of investment portfolios, including performance tracking and basic assessment of investment opportunities.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, banks, and financial partners on cash movements, settlements, and treasury-related matters.
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, controls, and reporting efficiency in a fast-growing fintech environment.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Banking, or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
