Senior Field Application Engineer (FPGA)

About the Client

Global leader in semiconductors and advanced technology solutions based in Penang Island.

Role Summary:

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will serve as the technical bridge between customers and suppliers, driving design‑in activities, promoting products, and generating new demand creation opportunities. This role requires strong expertise in FPGA development, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver in‑depth technical support, seminars, and training. The FAE will work independently and collaboratively to align technical promotion strategies with suppliers, support customer design cycles, and ensure successful adoption of solutions, with occasional overseas travel required.

Responsibilities:

Drive design‑in and product promotion activities.

Develop new demand creation customers.

Coordinate with suppliers on technical promotion initiatives.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to customers.

Conduct seminars and training sessions.

Requirements:

Degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years FPGA design experience

Skilled in VHDL, System Verilog, or OpenCL.

Strong presentation, communication, and teamwork skills.

Able to work independently; overseas travel may be required.
