Job Description:

Finance

  • Manage full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
  • Monitor and prepares cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings, statutory payments, and regulatory reports.
  • Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Review and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and analyse variances against actual expenditures.
  • Support management in financial planning and decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.

Administration

  • Maintain proper documentation, filing systems, and company records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the liaison between local management and Group/Head Office on finance and administrative matters.
  • Oversee office renovation, maintenance, and facility management projects.
  • Manage insurance renewals, company licenses, permits, and corporate registrations.
  • Coordinate procurement activities and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance and administration functions.
  • Manage company vehicle, asset, and inventory records.
  • Handle crisis management and business continuity matters related to office operations.

Leadership & Strategic Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor junior finance and administrative staff.
  • Review team work quality and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Participate in management meetings and provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving finance, operations, and administration.
  • Support organizational restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, or business expansion initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor departmental KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
