Position Summary
The Senior Finance Analyst (Product Supply) is a strategic and highly analytical FP&A role supporting the Supply Chain organization. The position partners closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Warehousing teams to drive financial planning, cost optimization, operational performance, and strategic decision-making across the end-to-end supply chain. This role plays a key part in delivering actionable insights, supporting forecasting and performance management, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Working Location: Vinda SEA HQ (Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang, next to Setia Alam)
You will play an important role to:
- Perform variance analysis on Warehouse, Logistics, Freight, and Transport expenses, and identify areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct Finished Goods Cost analysis to support cost reduction initiatives and margin enhancement.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Production teams to analyze trends, risks, and opportunities impacting Supply Chain financial performance.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis reports by reviewing expenses and analyzing variances against budget and forecast.
- Review and validate cost savings initiatives proposed by Warehouse and Logistics teams.
- Support month-end closing activities to ensure accurate accruals and financial reporting.
- Prepare forecasts and annual budgets related to Warehouse, Logistics, Freight, and Transport operations.
- Perform costing simulations and scenario analyses to support business decision-making.
- Drive reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives for systems and processes.
- Participate in year-end stock counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and provide the necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time in line with business requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or any relevant discipline
- At least 2 to 4 years working experience in managing cost accounting/product supply controlling/FP&A functions
