  • Support budget / forecast process, including consolidation of business unit reporting regions and discussions with business unit Managers for respective regions
  • Responsible for Profit and Loss and associated discussion and commentary with business unit Managers
  • Analyse actual vs budget / forecast variances and provide effective commentary to business units
  • Prepare/Review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and lead resolution of reconciliation issues
  • Involved with Board and Corporate Reporting and coordinating with team members for completion
  • Identify cost control and expense reduction opportunities
  • Actively involved in financial reporting issues and suggest and implement improvements
  • Responsible for some month end accounting / journals and guidance to team members
  • Review accruals and provisions on a regular basis
  • Involved with preparation of internal and external audit requirements
  • Involved with Income tax and FBT returns and review of tax sensitive accounts
  • Other ad-hoc projects and analysis as assigned by the business unit Finance Business Partner
  • Provide assistance to business unit providing value add analysis and business decision support
  • Provide assistance to business in general finance / accounting / system related issues and associated analysis and business decision support
  • Guidance and mentoring to Financial Accountants where necessary
  • Assist in getting process documentation completed for entire function and lead change to standard processes and procedures across span of control; to comply with group, divisional, operational and statutory requirements
  • Provide backup and overflow capacity for other Finance activities at peak times to aid delivery to business units
  • Ensure continuous improvement in daily routines and promote development of new ideas and improvement exchange
  • Contribute to the establishment of a framework for measuring and reporting the benefits of process improvements
  • Ensure adherence to Toll accounting policies and other generally accepted accounting standards
  • Support capex reporting and reconciliations
  • Ensure reporting and month end deadlines are adhered
  • Review weekly / monthly KPI reporting and provided analysis to business unit
  • Responsible for general accounting issues

Requirement :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Commerce
  • Professional qualification preferred (CA / CPA / ACCA)
  • Strong experience in: i) General Ledger (GL) ii) Month-end & year-end closing iii) Balance sheet reconciliation iv) Financial & management reporting
  • Power BI (must-have / strong advantage)
  • Advanced Excel (pivot, macros, modelling)
  • Exposure to BI tools, Power BI and etc
  • Build dashboards for finance reporting
  • Mandarin Speaker (would be advantage)
