Job Title: Senior Finance Executive (P2P)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (hybrid)

Type: Permanent, full-time

About the role:

We're looking for a Senior Finance Executive (Accounts Payable) to join our dynamic P2P team within BSI's Financial Business Services in Kuala Lumpur.

In this role, you'll play a key part in managing end-to-end Accounts Payable operations across multiple regions, working closely with the APAC P2P Manager as part of our global shared services network.

This is a hybrid position - enjoy the balance of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week.

Responsibilities:

• Processing vendor invoices (PO and non-PO) accurately, making payments and responding to AP queries.
• Investigating and resolving any invoice discrepancies with relevant parties on a timely basis.
• To ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the transactions processed as per BSI's SLA and KPI.
• Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the purchase ledger.
• Actioning month end tasks in collaboration with the Financial Accounting team.
• Performing other duties as and when delegated, including back-up, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc tasks.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Proven experience working in a similar P2P focussed role, ideally within a Shared Service environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SAP and PO Systems will be advantageous.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to collaborate and be a team player.
• Keen attention detail for ensuring accuracy within a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively over calls, MS Teams, emails etc.
