Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive

Job Responsibilities

Handling day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.

Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows.

Maintain full sets of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, and month-end closing.

Prepare monthly management accounts, schedules, reconciliations, financial reports, and variance analysis.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning for development projects and investment funds.

Monitor project costs, progress billings, and funding drawdowns, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and financing terms.

Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents and company secretary.

Ensure compliance with taxation matters, such as tax estimations, SST matters, eInvoice, withholding tax and statutory fillings.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support management in strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent) is an advantage.

Minimum 12 years experience for Finance Executive; 35 years experience for Senior Finance Executive.

Prior experience in property development, construction, investment, or fund management will be highly advantageous.

Strong understanding of project accounting, cash flow management, and financing structures.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, analysis).

Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.

Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Strong communication skills and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Mature, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
