Senior Finance Executive

Salary range: RM4,500 to RM5,500 per month (based on experience and qualifications)

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will run the day-to-day internal finance and accounting function across the Group's companies, with the opportunity to support our BPO clients. This is a hands-on role with visibility across the full accounting cycle within an established professional services group.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts for the Group's companies across its various service lines, including invoicing, receipting, and day-to-day bookkeeping
• Perform month-end and year-end closing, including bank reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments, staff claims, and collections follow-up
• Prepare and process bank transactions and online banking for approval, and monitor cash flow and bank balances
• Handle tax and statutory matters, including withholding tax, SST, corporate tax, and other statutory payments and filings for the relevant entities
• Maintain proper accounting records and the fixed asset register
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, and assist with budgeting, forecasts, and management reporting
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers on audit, tax, statutory, and banking matters
• Support BPO client engagements, including bookkeeping and management reporting, as required

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, MIA, or equivalent); strong part-qualified candidates will be considered
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, or other languages is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently to meet deadlines
