About the Job
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing full spectrum accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the overall financial operations of the business.
You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, coordinating with external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvements within the finance function.
Job Description
- Maintain and update the general ledger, including posting journal entries and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
- Review financial documents, identify discrepancies, and perform account reconciliations on a timely basis.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Ensure all financial records comply with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and company secretary on matters related to tax filings, audits, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare tax-related documentation, support tax computations, and gather necessary information for tax submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and schedules for management and statutory purposes.
- Support process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within the accounting function.
- Ad-hc tasks that assigned by the manager.
Skills and Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification or ACCA qualification is required.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in general ledger, accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems/software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
