The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Financial Operations Management: Oversee and monitor day-to-day financial operations within the company, including treasury management, credit control, cost control, risk management, and ensuring robust internal controls are in place.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including overseeing the preparation of management and statutory accounts, tax filings, and audits. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, and other relevant authorities to resolve compliance issues.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Lead the consolidation, analysis, and forecasting of financial reports. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Budgeting & Planning: Monitor and define the annual budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Regularly review financial performance to ensure the business remains sustainable and financially healthy. Implement financial strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Special & Ad-Hoc Assignments: Take on special projects or ad-hoc assignments as needed, supporting the company in achieving its financial and operational objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement in financial practices, systems, and procedures to increase efficiency and maintain alignment with industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Possess at least Bachelor's degree, professional degree or higher in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in manufacturing field
- Solid knowledge of financial & management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & planning.
- Possessed good leadership skill, pro-active and willing to work in Perai, Penang
