Description
- Manage the full set of accounts and ensure all monthly and annual closings are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and review key financial reports such as the Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Handle audit, tax, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting, serving as the primary contact for auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, SST requirements, and eInvoicing regulations.
- Support Bursa Malaysia compliance and corporate governance matters, including preparing financial information for disclosures and statutory submissions.
- Maintain compliance with all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements across accounting and finance functions.
- Evaluate internal accounting and operational workflows, recommending enhancements to strengthen efficiency, internal controls, and compliance.
- Perform additional tasks or special projects assigned by Management as needed.
Profile
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional qualifications being an advantage.
- Proven expertise in accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing environment, preferably with an audit background
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Good understanding of MFRS, IFRS and the Companies Act
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
