Responsibilities:
- Independently manage the preparation of full set accounts and oversee the month-end closing process on a timely basis to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and process vendor payments and expense claims with appropriate checks and approvals
- Preparing bank reconciliation report
- Assist in audit queries and preparation of financial statements
- Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping in accounting systems
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and internal controls
- Assist in any finance related tasks or automation initiatives
Requirements
- 7-8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry
- Good understanding of financial controls, accounting standards and tax
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Suite) and Microsoft Excel. Coding knowledge will be highly advantageous.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory
