Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage the preparation of full set accounts and oversee the month-end closing process on a timely basis to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and process vendor payments and expense claims with appropriate checks and approvals
  • Preparing bank reconciliation report
  • Assist in audit queries and preparation of financial statements
  • Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping in accounting systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and internal controls
  • Assist in any finance related tasks or automation initiatives

Requirements

  • 7-8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry
  • Good understanding of financial controls, accounting standards and tax
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Suite) and Microsoft Excel. Coding knowledge will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory
