Role Summary
The Senior Finance Executive supports and strengthens the Group's financial management by managing and executing cash flow activities, monitoring progress claims, subcontractor payments, banking matters, and financial reporting to ensure timely payments, accurate records and effective financial control across all the entities.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the management of the Group's daily cash flow planning and forecasting, ensuring optimal fund utilization and sufficient liquidity to meet operational and project requirements.
- Review and supervise the payment processing, approvals, and banking transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution.
- Monitor payment obligations, due dates, and funding requirements across the Group to maintain adequate liquidity positions.
- Manage banking facilities including loans, bank guarantees, hire purchase, and other financing matters.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts, ageing analysis, and summary of banking facilities to support effective financial planning and monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on progress billings, certifications, wages, payroll, and other related payment matters.
- Liaise with banks, suppliers, subcontractors, and external stakeholders on treasury and payment related matters.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and insights to support management decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement in cash flow management, financial processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and governance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, audit processes, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to the statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification, e.g. ACCA or CPA is an advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferable in the construction, property development, real estate, or automated warehouse solutions industry.
- Proficient in IFCA accounting system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to work and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
