Job Description

Welcome to GO Asia

GrowthOps is a marketing transformation agency, consistently awarded the top Customer Engagement agency in APAC. For over 15 years, we've been helping brands go to market in Asia by integrating strategy, design, technology and AI. Trusted by enterprises and high-growth innovators, we specialise in supporting media, MarTech and creative operations across financial services, telecommunications, transportation, ecommerce, energy and more. GrowthOps is part of The Applied AI Company.

About your new role!

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Global CFO. This is a hands-on leadership role designed to professionalise, consolidate, and scale a global finance function in preparation for a successful Series B round and significant international expansion. Global finance, including FP&A, FinOps, audit, and treasury, reports into this role. You will consolidate reporting lines that are currently fragmented, inherit an existing Asia-based finance team, and rebuild the function as an AI-native operation that scales with the business rather than with headcount. This is a build seat, not a maintenance seat: the team is being reshaped as AI absorbs workflows, and you will make it better and more efficient.

We are fast and still maturing. Decisions move quickly and core systems are not yet fully mapped to its maximum potential, so you will be building while operating. The role carries UAE travel, roughly one week in every quarter. It comes with a defined 18 to 24 month pathway to Regional CFO role, a separate, board-reporting title, subject to performance and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial strategy
  • Own annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, aligned to aggressive growth targets and the product roadmap using latest tools and technologies (Our finance tech stack: Netsuite + Salesforce + HiBob + multiplier + Precursive + Tableau + Claude)
  • Build and maintain investor-grade financial reporting and communications that clearly articulate the company's financial health and growth trajectory.
  • Financial operations and control
  • Lead and professionalise group-wide financial operations, including accounting, management reporting, treasury, tax, and payroll.
  • Establish and enforce robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure financial integrity across a regulated, multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Own the external audit relationship and deliver timely, clean annual audits.
  • Build and transform (AI-native)
  • Optimise finance workflows so automation absorbs repeatable work, and lead the deliberate right-sizing of the team as those workflows mature.
  • Re-Map and operationalise the core stack (NetSuite, Salesforce, HRIS) into coherent, reliable finance infrastructure.
  • Bring the close, reconciliation, and reporting discipline needed to support expansion into new markets.
  • Global scope and team leadership
  • Consolidate global finance reporting lines, including reintegrating FP&A into a single finance function.
  • Inherit a 10-12 person finance team with full authority over structure and hiring.
  • Resource FP&A ahead of expansion into new markets opening over the coming months.
  • Business partnering and commercial acumen
  • Provide deep financial analysis and commercial insight to product, sales, and technology teams to optimise pricing, business models, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and track the KPIs that matter for a high-growth SaaS and AI business: ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC, CAC payback, LTV, burn multiple, and Rule of 40.
  • Optional: M&A post-merger integration
  • Optional involvement in M&A post-merger integration work, carrying a separate bonus.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) strongly preferred, with Big 4 training an advantage.
  • CFA and/or MBA is a bonus.
  • Ten or more years of progressive financial experience, with a significant portion gained in-house post-qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience building finance functions, systems, or teams from scratch, not only inheriting and maintaining them.
  • Genuine, self-directed adoption of AI in a finance context, with evidence of automating real workflows.
  • Proven experience within software, SaaS, technology, or high-growth product startups is highly desirable.
  • Direct, demonstrable experience supporting a company through a significant funding round or high-growth scaling phase.
  • Experience in the UAE and MENA region is a significant advantage, including the local regulatory and commercial environment.
  • Experience in managing intercompany billing and reporting

Skills

  • High-energy self-starter with strong ownership and a bias for action, able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Moves seamlessly between setting long-term financial strategy and executing hands-on, day-to-day tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, conveying complex financial data clearly to non-finance executives, the Board, and investors.
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus point
