Job SummaryWe are seeking a high-caliber Finance Manager to lead group-level financial reporting and strategic analysis. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining financial operations, ensuring stringent compliance with listing requirements, and providing the executive board with data-driven insights to support global business growth.
Job ResponsibilitiesGroup Consolidation: Lead the end-to-end consolidation of group accounts for a public-listed entity, ensuring technical accuracy and timeliness.
Strategic Analysis: Conduct deep-dive financial performance reviews and provide incisive commentaries for business units and group results.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Spearhead the preparation of annual budgets, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow projections, while managing detailed variance analysis.
Treasury & Tax: Manage corporate taxation, banking relationships, and group cash flow management to optimize liquidity.
Board Reporting: Develop comprehensive EXCO and Board papers, presenting key findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Process Improvement: Identify reporting gaps and drive the automation of finance workflows to enhance standardization and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Liaison: Ensure absolute adherence to MFRS, Bursa Listing Requirements, and statutory regulations while managing relationships with auditors, tax consultants, and bankers.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification.
Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
Background: Proven track record in a Public Listed Company (PLC) or a Big Four audit firm environment is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Deep expertise in MFRS, group consolidation, and statutory compliance.
Soft Skills: High integrity, exceptional analytical thinking, and the ability to lead under pressure within tight deadlines.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
