Senior Financial Analyst (Business Control)

About the Role:

A reputable multinational organization is seeking aSenior Financial Analyst (Business Control)to support business performance monitoring, cost control, and profitability analysis. This role works closely with Finance and Operations to provide accurate reporting and meaningful business insights for decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and consolidate monthly management reports (Actual, Flash, Forecast)
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly revisions
• Perform variance and gap analysis, investigate deviations, and highlight key trends
• Conduct cost and profitability analysis to support performance monitoring
• Prepare dashboards and financial indicators for management review
• Ensure accuracy of standard cost computation
• Partner with Operations and Commercial teams as a trusted Business Partner
• Support financial control reporting and handle ad-hoc analysis
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance ; professional qualification is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Control / Finance Controlling
• Strong exposure to cost and revenue analysis (not treasury or inventory-focused roles)
• Experience in maritime/shipping industry is preferred
• Big 4 audit background is an added advantage
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Knowledge of SAP or Oracle is a plus
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
