Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for Provide meaningful analysis of site operations by consistent application of the management reporting and review framework for Seating Business Unit in Asia, ensuring alignment with region and corporate framework. Support FP&A manager on timely completion of closing, forecast, budget, LRP and other routine FP&A reporting activities and other financial analysis with high quality according to Lear Corporate instructions. Improve the quality and effectiveness of segment/ region management information by the process of rigorous analysis of management reporting in collaboration with Regional Controllers and Business Unit finance teams. Work closely with segment FP&A team for information sharing and communication to ensure accuracy and efficiency of overall FP&A reporting at segments and divisions. Seek for opportunities in automation and efficiency improvement in FP&A.

Responsibilities

  • Identify performance drivers of particular business units, prepare analysis for driving performance (trends, ratios, product mix, gap analyses)
  • Provide finance support to FP&A Senior Finance Manager FP&A in all financial matters.
  • Review site submissions of monthly business reports and forecasts/assessment for accuracy and reasonableness
  • Ensure robust variance analysis of monthly submissions
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly corporate reporting package for Seating Business Unit.
  • Ensure timely submission of forecast updates, annual budget, LRP, BS review etc. with high quality and efficiency
  • Adhoc analysis as required by management.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting or Business degree (or equivalent). ACCA or CPA
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a financial planning, reporting and analysis role (ideally familiar with a regional focus in Asia in an international MNC)
  • Cost accounting or controllership within a manufacturing environment will be well regarded/preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated process improvement skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite of software packages
  • Hyperion system knowledge preferred
  • Regional language fluency well regarded
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Written and oral fluency in English and Chinese
