Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in WP. Kuala Lumpur for a Senior Financial Controller. Responsibilities include managing financial operations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, overseeing financial reporting processes, and driving financial planning and decision-making within the organization. The Senior Financial Controller will collaborate closely with the leadership team to ensure compliance with finance regulations and improve financial strategies to support growth and operational objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum 710 years of relevant experience in finance or controllership roles.

Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Professional qualification preferred

Strong experience in retail, trading, distribution, or inventory-heavy businesses.

Proven track record in financial reporting, audit coordination, and internal controls.

Strong FP&A and financial modelling capability.

Experience working in high-growth or scaling environments preferred.

Team Leadership

Build and manage the finance team.

Develop structured reporting lines and accountability.

Mentor junior finance staff.

Foster a culture of accuracy, ownership, and commercial awareness.
