Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Financial Controller, based in Alor Setar. The Senior Financial Controller will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensure compliance with regulatory financial reporting standards, and develop and implement effective financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing accounting functions, performing financial analyses, creating financial reports, and collaborating with senior leadership to support business decision-making. The role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining financial discipline and providing strategic financial insights.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Accounting
- Strong Analytical Skills applied to financial planning and decision-making
- Comprehensive understanding of Finance, including budgeting and forecasting
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
- Proficient in relevant financial software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. MBA IS AN ADVANTAGE
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance role
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
