About the Role
The position is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis across plants in China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam. It is a hands-on FP&A role with significant exposure to manufacturing operations and regional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be involved across the organization in a variety of areas – looking to make an impact by implementing strong financial planning and analysis.
- The candidate will be hands on; Key tools used: Hyperion and Excel.
- Interact with plant FAs (Located in China, India, Thailand and Vietnam), operations and functions to ensure forecasts are appropriate.
- Assist in timely and accurate preparation and consolidation of monthly closing, rolling financial forecasts, annual financial budget and 5 years LRP for Asia Surface/Structure/TCS segment plants.
- Perform standard analyses on volume, revenue, OI, free cash flow, capital spending, function savings etc. to provide information on early business indicators and to support decision making.
- Establish and maintain key operational reports.
- Analyze financial data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed.
- Assist with and manage various ad hoc projects as needs.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) will be an added advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Hyperion preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and/or Auditing within a manufacturing environment and/or multinational corporation (MNC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written, to support stakeholders in the China region.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is preferred; experience with Lear Corporation products and operations would be an advantage.
