Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

As a Frontend Developer at Centific Global Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-performance, responsive web applications using the latest React and TypeScript technologies. This full-time position is located in George Town, Penang, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web application interfaces using React.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement and enhance frontend features and UI components.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve frontend issues, bugs, and UI-related defects reported through support tickets.
• Perform debugging, testing, and optimization to ensure smooth functionality and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in continuous improvement of web applications by proposing practical UI/UX and frontend enhancements.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and reusable frontend code following development best practices.
• Support deployment activities and version control processes through Azure DevOps and Git.
• Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirement

• Minimum 5 years of experience in frontend or web development, with strong hands-on experience in React.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience developing responsive and interactive user interfaces for web applications.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Vue, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience working with development tools including Visual Studio Code, Git, NPM, Yarn, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, particularly for frontend UI and functional issues.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility testing and frontend performance optimization.
• Basic understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage support tickets and bug fixes efficiently.
