Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Web Frontend Engineer with founder mindset to join our product team and help shape the future of decentralized finance. You'll be building the interfaces that thousands of users interact with daily to provide liquidity.
This role operates in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment where markets run 24/7 and priorities can shift quickly. If you thrive under pressure and enjoy the adrenaline of shipping rapidly in a dynamic space, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
- Build intuitive user interfaces for complex DeFi workflows such as liquidity provision, position management, and on-chain interactions.
- Integrate with Solana wallets, on-chain programs, and real-time blockchain data sources.
- Work closely with product, design, backend, and smart contract teams to ship user-facing features end to end.
- Optimise frontend performance, particularly for real-time updates and transaction-heavy flows.
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and establish best practices across projects.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Act as a bar-raiser by leading through example from conducting thoughtful code reviews, to sharing knowledge, and challenging assumptions to level up the team.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling, with a solid grasp of functional programming principles.
- Good understanding of reactive programming and API integrations.
- Familiarity with state management concepts (experience with common libraries is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or similar frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Web3 libraries such as @solana/web3.js and wallet adapters, and core blockchain concepts.
- Ability to translate complex financial and technical systems into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to ship independently and take full ownership of features.
- Willingness to step beyond traditional frontend boundaries debugging transactions, improving SDKs, or contributing to backend/infrastructure when needed.
- Comfortable operating under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Based in GMT+8, particularly Singapore or Malaysia.
- Ability to read and reason about Rust and Solana smart contract code, even if not writing it daily.
- Understanding of DeFi primitives such as AMMs, liquidity pools, and trading mechanics.
