Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Corporate Tooling team within the Shared Platform domain. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise web applications using Python and Django. The candidate will work across the full stack, including backend services, frontend development, and database management using MS SQL Server. The environment is Linux-based, and the role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing internal tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python and Django
• Build backend services, APIs, and business logic using Python
• Develop and maintain frontend features using JavaScript and jQuery
• Work with MS SQL Server for database design, querying, and optimization
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance
• Deploy, maintain, and support applications on Linux servers
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other engineering teams
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and system defects
• Follow coding standards and contribute to engineering best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with Django framework
• Full stack web development experience
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience with MS SQL Server (schema design, queries, optimization)
• Experience working in Linux server environments
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience in enterprise or corporate tooling systems

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React or Vue.js)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with Docker or containerized deployments
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Understanding of caching systems (Redis, Memcached)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
