Job Description:

Senior Full Stack Developer

What is the Opportunity

As a Full Stack Developer within CM Digital team, you will:

• Provide development, support, and release activities on strategic initiatives.
• Work across business functions within RBC Capital Markets and RBC Investor & Treasury Services.
• Perform hands-on coding, design, and architecture of technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and adopt emerging technologies to keep products up to date.
• Deliver end-to-end technical solutions leveraging React, Node.js, and other technologies.

What Will You Do

• Drive architectural discussions and enforce code structure, quality, patterns, and standards.
• Oversee execution and production of product development.
• Use domain knowledge to mitigate tactical and technological risks.
• Collaborate with Business Owners and Project Managers to meet business goals.
• Recommend system solutions by evaluating different approaches and trade-offs.
• Provide accurate cost estimates and meet project timelines.
• Ensure excellent user experience and intuitive UI design.
• Partner with UI/UX teams where appropriate.
• Support product adoption, demos, and feature planning.
• Build customer-focused, engaging applications using sound engineering and design practices.

Must Have

5+ years of development experience with React, Redux, RxJS, and Node.js for scalable APIs and modern applications.

Experience with Microsoft .NET stack:

C#, .NET, .NET Core, MVC, WebForms, Web Services

Hands-on experience with:

Designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs

API documentation (Swagger)

Strong knowledge of relational databases:

MS SQL Server (2012–2016)

Ability to design database schemas aligned with technical requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with DevOps tools:

Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence

Familiarity with messaging queue systems such as Solace.
