Job Description & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Supply Chain Management (SCM), specializing in Advanced Warehouse Management and Production modules. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with travel to Guangzhou, China required for on-site engagements.
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in the end-to-end implementation of D365 SCM, particularly in Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS), Production Control, and Master Planning/Planning Optimizer modules. Your expertise will guide clients through requirements analysis, solution design, and the successful execution of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of D365 SCM, particularly in Advanced Warehouse Management, Production, and Master Planning modules. Strong knowledge of AX 2012 is preferred.
- Implementation Experience: Lead full lifecycle implementations of D365 & AX2012, including ISV and third-party integrations, documentation, and customer engagement.
- Manufacturing & Production: Extensive experience working with clients in manufacturing and production environments, ensuring smooth implementation and optimization of the relevant modules.
- Global Rollouts: Experience in global rollouts is a significant advantage. Proven ability to adapt implementations across different regions, with previous experience in China being highly valued.
- On-site Travel: Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) to Guangzhou, China for on-site support and implementations.
- Consulting & Solutioning: Provide expert guidance on the solutioning process, leveraging your deep product knowledge to engage clients and resolve challenges. You must be able to convince clients with well-informed recommendations.
- End-to-End Knowledge: Ability to manage the full project lifecycle, from requirement analysis through to testing and support. End-to-end expertise in Sales, Purchase, and Inventory modules is essential.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in implementing D365 SCM and AX2012, including working with ISV and 3rd party integrations.
- Proven experience in Advanced Warehouse Management, Production Control, and Master Planning/Planning Optimizer modules.
- Familiarity with Production and Manufacturing modules of D365, with hands-on implementation experience in manufacturing and production environments.
- APAC region implementation experience, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and needs of the region.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex requirements, provide innovative solutions, and communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in global rollouts is highly beneficial, especially with previous implementations in China.
- Consulting experience: Ability to understand customer needs, offer solutions, and lead the project from requirement gathering to Go-Live and support.
