A Business Analyst is responsible for driving product vision, gather and translate business requirements and ensure successful delivery of digital products and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with business stakeholders, UX designers, engineering teams, and QA to define product roadmaps, manage backlogs, and ensure solutions meet business goals, customer needs, and regulatory expectations
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized, refined and aligned with business and customer value.
Define product vision, objectives and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
Translate product strategies into clear, actionable requirements and features.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring clarity of scope and business priorities.
Gather, analyse and document business requirements, functional specifications and user stories.
Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, journey mapping and process analysis with stakeholders.
Prepare detailed acceptance criteria and ensure testability of all requirements.
Work with UX/UI teams to refine wireframes, prototypes and workflows.
Support development teams throughout the build and testing phases.
Review functional test results and ensure solutions meet business needs and acceptance criteria.
Participate in SIT & UAT planning and defect triage.
Oversee release planning and ensure readiness for deployment.
Analyze product performance, customer feedback and operational metrics to drive enhancements.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Contribute to product strategy, roadmap planning and long-term capability development.
Job requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any technology related field is desired.
Min 6 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management practices.
Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using product and project tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Figma).
Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Experience in digital transformation, customer onboarding, digital onboarding, KYC/AML processes or workflow-based systems is preferred.
Knowledge of UX/UI frameworks and customer journey mapping.
Familiar with API-based systems, microservices and modern application architectures.
Experience in data modelling, reporting requirements or analytics is desired.
Strong business acumen & problem-solving, customer-centered thinking, detail-oriented, structured, able to drive clarity and alignment across diverse stakeholders.
