Job Title : Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Note: Must be Malaysian/local resident of Malaysia
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, design, and reporting.
- Review and interpret soil investigation data for foundation, earthwork, and slope stability design.
- Prepare and review geotechnical interpretative reports, design calculations, and drawings.
- Provide technical input for tender and project proposals.
- Coordinate with clients, authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and oversee field/site activities.
- Ensure compliance with JKR standards, BS/Eurocode, and other relevant codes of practice.
Qualification
- At least five (5) years of working experience in designing.
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/ equivalent.
- Skilled in designing using PLAXIS, SLOPE W, PROKON, Repute and PIGLET software.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint & Excel).
- Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
What we are looking for
- Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Previous experience in geotechnical software such as SLOPE W and PLAXIS is an added advantage.
- Able to go to site/ outstation
- Capable and experienced in managing project independently and performing projects in fast paced environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
