Handles end-to-end HR operations, payroll structures, employee relations, general administration & administrative gatekeeping, and the regulatory compliance

Job Summary

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations while fostering a positive employee experience. This role partners with business leaders and employees on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  2. Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  3. Prepare employment contracts and new employee documentation.
  4. Maintain recruitment records and monitor hiring progress.

Employee Relations

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for employee enquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  2. Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  3. Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.
  4. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Performance Management

  1. Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and monitor completion.
  2. Support managers in setting performance objectives and development plans.
  3. Track employee probation confirmations and performance reviews.

Compensation & Benefits

  1. Administer employee benefits, insurance, and leave management.
  2. Support payroll preparation by ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date.
  3. Maintain employee records related to compensation and benefits.

Learning & Development

  1. Identify training needs in collaboration with department managers.
  2. Coordinate internal and external training programmes.
  3. Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.

HR Administration

  1. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  2. Prepare HR reports, employment letters, and other documentation.
  3. Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  4. Manage employee lifecycle processes, including transfers, confirmations, promotions, resignations, and offboarding.

HR Policies & Compliance

  1. Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and statutory requirements.
  3. Support internal and external HR audits.
