Job Description

Working Location: KLIA

SCOPE OF ROLE:

In supporting to the Regional Director of Human Resources and/or Regional Manager of Human Resources in executing the dedicated country's HR directions, and implementations. In support and to attend to the respective country's PICs operationally.

This position provides advice and assistance to employees and management team within the country of care. Managing the operations of the Human Resources spectrum and scopes, promoting and supporting best practices within the country.

In addition to the HR roles & responsibilities, the tasks do not limit to carrying out audit, and checking of Operations effectiveness and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To align and execute all Human Resources directions and strategies from Regional Office and Headquarters (HQ).
  • To establish directions and strategies for all other Human Resources functions for the country that are not covered by HQ.
  • To align and synergize all locations within the country, with all the best practices.
  • To be point of advice and consultancy for all HR members within the country.

Employee Services

  • To provide advice and support to managers on all aspects of employee services including processing the following: -
  • appointments (contract) full time/ temp/ part time
  • temporary/ permanent contract variation
  • resignations
  • probation and confirmation
  • promotions and re-designations
  • staff development
  • Ensures that HR information that needs to be communicated to staff is communicated appropriately, whilst maintaining confidentiality where required.
  • To drive Employees Engagement initiatives, and executions
  • To attend to employees enquiries.

Recruitment and Selection

  • To ensure that all job descriptions and employee specifications are in place.
  • To provide advice and assistance to supervisors on staff recruitment.
  • Prepare notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions.
  • To supervise the scheduling, organizing of interviews and to conduct interviews.
  • To pre-screens job applicants to find suitability.
  • To conduct reference checks on potential candidates.
  • To informs applicants of their acceptance or rejection for employment.

Attendance and Leave Management

  • To monitor and be alerted on staff attendance issues and if necessary to conduct investigation and understand reasons for staff absenteeism.
  • To provide advice and recommendations on disciplinary actions on chronic attendance.
  • To periodic run the Leave balance report to ensure proper management

Administrative

  • To support the preparation of Human Resources related reports.
  • To maintain and upkeep staff personal files in a professional and confidential manner in line with audit requirements.

Labour Relations, Industrial Relations and Company Policies

  • To explain employment terms and conditions and company policies and procedures.
  • To interpret and advice on employment legislation and standards.
  • To provide confidential administrative support in areas relating to disciplinary and grievances issues, and where applicable tribunal documentations.
  • To collate information on behalf of HR Department in relation to new legislation and best practices guidelines.
  • To conduct counselling sessions

Special Projects

  • To assist in coordinating special events such as Long Service Awards, Family Day and Annual Dinner & Dance.
  • To coordinate staff recognition programme
  • Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
