Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior IT Business Analyst to play a
strategic role in bridging business needs with technology solutions across the direct
selling and e-commerce ecosystem. This role leads end-to-end analysis for digital
initiatives, drives platform enhancements, and ensures seamless integration between
sales, operations, and customer experience. The ideal candidate combines deep
analytical capability with strong stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, compliant,
and user-centric outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support high-impact cross-functional projects and initiatives across departments.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and executive level discussion to understand business process, requirements and challenges.
- Develop business cases, impact assessments, and solution proposals.
- Translate business goals into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, supported by business cases, process maps, user stories and specifications.
- Collaborate with development team in design and development to ensure solutions are aligned with user needs and business goal.
- Analyse current processes, documents and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
- Develop functional, data, and integration documentation aligned with business and end-user needs; secure sign-o from relevant stakeholder
- Work closely with Process Excellence team (Solution Architect) to document changes to the business process.
- Oversee system integration eorts, including data migration and API connectivity with internal and external system.
- Mentors Junior BAs and contribute to BA practice development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in business analysis role with a focus on ecommerce or direct selling.
- Proven experience in project management OR business analysis.
- Experience supporting e-commerce and ERP system integration, including API mapping, digital payment flows, warehouse and inventory operations.
- Strong grasp of system architecture. documentation, functional specs, data flow diagram, integration mapping (ERP, payment gateways), UAT script and sign-off protocols.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio/Miro, MS SQL/PostgreSQL. PowerBI/Tableau.
- Ability to negotiate priorities, manage expectations, and align technical delivery with business outcomes.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Good presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for solving complex problems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in e-commerce or direct selling environments.
- Strong grasp of digital sales funnels, commission logic, promotional mechanics, and warehouse operations.
- Experience to Malaysia compliance requirements (eg. E-Invoice).
- Past technical background experience is a plus.
