Job Description

What will be your roles:

  • Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of IT systems, including but not limited to servers, networks, desktops, surveillance cameras, building access systems, conferencing tools, mobile devices, storage, backups, and disaster recovery. Research, develop, and implement new technologies as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
  • Configure and manage firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • Possess a strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools effectively (e.g., Cacti, Wireshark).
  • Familiarity with Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN).
  • Design and implement LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud networks to support organizational requirements.
  • Evaluate network technologies, software, and hardware to recommend updates or replacements.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including switch and firewall firmware updates.
  • Make necessary adjustments to systems and equipment for optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, procedures, and inventory.
  • Build and manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Develop and implement redundancy, business continuity (BCP), and disaster recovery (DR) plans.
  • Analyze the performance of network and server systems, document resolutions, identify recurring issues, and propose solutions to enhance service quality and prevent future disruptions.
  • Support customer auditing activities.

What you must have to apply:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud administration
  • Minimum 3 years of IT support experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ISO9001 audits
  • Relevant certifications in networking, servers, or cybersecurity are highly desirable
  • Strong experience supporting routing/switching, firewalls, cloud services (AWS and Azure), Microsoft server environments, and configuration management
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, including server platforms, virtualization, cloud and server management tools, vulnerability assessment, and patch management
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools for servers and network infrastructure
  • Familiar with advanced concepts such as domain federations, cloud tenant management, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, network segmentation, and security best practices
  • Proven ability to define and meet SLAs and system performance benchmarks
  • Experience with customer qualification audits is a plus
