Senior Project Manager experience in Infrastructure
Location: Selangor, Malaysia (On-site)
Contract: 2-year fixed term with permanent benefits and contract renewal
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong experience in infrastructure project management, preferably within larges-scale hard infrastructure (railways, roads & bridges, power grid) that is transferrable to renewable energy. This hands-on role requires managing cross-functional teams across Electrical, Civil, Construction, and Scheduling disciplines to ensure successful project execution from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and monitor detailed solar project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Lead cross-functional teams including Electrical, Civil, Construction, and Scheduling disciplines for seamless project delivery
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting to meet profitability targets
- Act as primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships
- Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to renewable energy industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced project performance and stakeholder communication
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong proficiency in project planning, execution, risk management, and financial oversight
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client and team expectations effectively
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous but not mandatory
