Senior Instrument & Control Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and configuration of DCS, SIS, and PLC systems
• Prepare and review engineering documents: Cause & Effect, Control Narratives, FDS, P&IDs
• Perform SIL verification and selection
• Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery
• Provide technical support during FAT and SAT
• Work with major control platforms (e.g., Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, Yokogawa Centum, Siemens PCS 7)
• Apply relevant standards (ISA, IEC, API, NFPA)
• Use and troubleshoot communication protocols (Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, HART)
• Support control system networking and industrial cybersecurity

Requirements:

• Strong background in control & automation engineering
• Solid understanding of DCS/PLC/SCADA systems
• Experience in Oil & Gas or EPC is a strong advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Lead/Senior Engineer
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Instrumentation/Control or relevant field
• Must be able to work in Petaling Jaya
