Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer instrumentation and control systems for offshore platforms.
  • Develop P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and instrument datasheets
  • Select and specify process instrumentation, sensors, and control devices
  • Lead instrument engineering teams and coordinate with other disciplines
  • Manage instrument procurement, vendor management, and quality assurance
  • Develop instrument installation and commissioning procedures Attend instrument FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, API)
  • Collaborate with process engineers and DCS vendors
  • Support field troubleshooting and post-commissioning modifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation/Control Engineering or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas EPCI projects
  • Strong background with multinational engineering companies
  • In-depth knowledge of instrumentation systems and control strategies
  • Proficiency in P&ID development and instrument sizing software
  • Experience with DCS/SCADA systems and automation platforms
  • Familiarity with international codes (IEC 61508, ISA 84, API 1165)
