Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage theend-to-end design processfrom space planning, conceptual design, detailed drawings, presentation materials, through to project completion and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams includingReal Estate, Fit-Out, QS, Procurement, and Space Management, ensuring project requirements and design standards are fully met.
- Preparetender drawings and documentationin line with project specifications and timelines.
- Providedaily and weekly progress reportsto the superior, ensuring all projects remain on schedule and within scope.
- Attendsite meetings and inspectionswhen required to oversee design execution and resolve on-site issues.
- Work effectively in afast-paced, deadline-driven environment, maintaining accuracy, creativity, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least aDiploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
- Minimum3 years of relevant working experiencein interior design, preferably in theretail or commercial sector.
- Proficient in design and technical software includingAutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong ability inhand sketchingfor quick concept visualization.
- Good knowledge ofspace planning, conceptual design, detailed drawings, and tender documentation.
- Excellent coordination skills with cross-functional teams such as Real Estate, Fit-Out, QS, Procurement, and contractors.
- Strongtime management and reporting skills, with the ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
