Make an impact

The Senior Internal Auditor contributes to the delivery of global internal audits, risk-based control testing, and technology- enabled audit procedures within KUKA's international audit model. The role suits auditors with Big Four foundations and experience working in multinational environments, with solid exposure to process auditing, ERP systems, and analytics-supported testing. This position is designed for high-potential professionals who want to grow in a modern audit environment especially those who are passionate about applying AI, automation, and data analytics to improve audit quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

1. Audit Delivery

• Perform audit fieldwork across financial, operational, compliance and system-supported processes.
• Conduct walkthroughs, process understanding, risk identification, and control testing.
• Use data extracts, analytics, and system queries to support audit procedures.

2. Internal Control (CSOX) Testing

• Execute design and operating effectiveness testing of internal control systems.
• Support evidence collection, sample definition, and remediation tracking.
• Use structured templates and automated scripts where applicable.

3. IT & Data-Enabled Auditing

• Perform testing of automated controls, user access controls, and system-derived evidence.
• Use ERP reports, access listings, logs, and data analytics tools guided by the IT Audit Manager.

4. Methodology & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the modernization of audit templates, working papers, and analytics-enabled procedures.
• Share insights and cross-learning across the global team.

5. Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with colleagues in Europe, China, and Malaysia.
• Support constructive communication with business stakeholders.

What you need to succeed

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• 46 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or internal controls; Big Four experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of business processes, process risks, and audit techniques.
• Exposure to IT-supported environments (ERP, automated controls, access management).
• Experience with data analytics tools or data-driven testing is an advantage.
• Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural audit environment with willingness to travel globally up to 30%
• Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CISA) are an advantage.
