About the Role
You will partner with internal stakeholders, drive process improvements, and mentor team members.
Responsibilities
- Establish appropriate internal controls to ensure global tax compliance
- Monitoring internal business units to comply with SOX requirements
- Preparing/assisting/monitoring tax working papers that support the company's quarterly/year-end tax provision, including deferred tax, on a timely basis
- Preparing international corporate tax compliance (direct tax and indirect tax), planning and process improvement initiatives
- Managing various tax reporting, tax compliance and project related deadlines
- Understanding and assessing and sharing the impact of worldwide taxation developments and their impact on the company and business units
- Managing, providing support, analysis and reporting for taxation audits and special projects (including system invention projects)
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal clients, providing a high level of client service
- Supervising and mentoring team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop and grow in their roles
Qualifications/Required Skills
- University degree in Accounting or Finance, with 5 years of tax experience.
- Advanced Excel with strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Detail-oriented and deadline driven, ability to work in a fast-paced MNC environment
- Self-starter with excellent accounting, analytical, creative problem-solving and project management skills
- Experience in managing a team would be a plus
- Enthusiastic to learn from and work with other team members
- Contributing to a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin would be an added advantage
