Overview Of The Position
Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, software licenses, hardware inventory, and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, accurate asset management, and effective reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including planning, procurement, deployment, renewal, retirement, and disposal.
- Manage Software Asset Management (SAM) and software license compliance.
- Manage Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and maintain accurate hardware inventory.
- Track software usage and identify unused or underused licenses.
- Support software audits and license reviews.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing, IT asset policies, vendor agreements, and internal audit requirements.
- Manage relationships with key IT vendors and service providers.
- Track ISIT contracts, renewals, notice periods, and commercial risks.
- Support contract negotiations with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and ISIT leadership.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across software, hardware, cloud, and vendor contracts.
- Provide regular IT asset and contract reports to ISIT leadership.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Vendor Management, Contract Management, or IT Procurement.
- Experience with licensing models of major technology vendors such as Microsoft, SAP, Google, VMware by Broadcom, Dell, and other enterprise providers.
- Strong experience in software licensing, license optimization, renewals, vendor negotiations, and software audits.
- Experience with ITAM tools such as ManageEngine ITAM, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or similar platforms.
- Experience working in enterprise or multinational IT environments.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Preferred certifications include: Certified Software Asset Manager IAITAM Certification and Microsoft, SAP, Google, or cloud licensing certifications.
- Strong skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, cost optimization, audit readiness, negotiation, reporting, compliance, and contract management.
