Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong expertise in SDLC environments and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in requirement gathering, preparing business documentation, writing user stories, and conducting UAT activities. Exposure to Microsoft technology stack projects will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), functional specifications, and related project documentation.
- Write clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with development and QA teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation and defect tracking.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements for technical teams.
- Ensure timely communication and alignment between business users and project teams.
- Support project delivery by identifying risks, dependencies, and process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in SDLC-based projects.
Strong experience in:
- Requirement gathering and analysis
- BRD and functional documentation
- User story creation
- UAT planning and execution
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Microsoft technology stack environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
- Understanding of business process mapping and workflow analysis.
