Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Position Objective

The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining the organization's regional IT infrastructure across Asia. The role will be responsible for managing cloud platforms, servers, networks, security technologies, endpoint management, and IT infrastructure projects while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence. The position will work closely with regional IT teams, vendors, managed service providers, and business stakeholders to support strategic technology initiatives and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Projects

• Lead and participate in regional infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical designs, implementation plans, and documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and project teams to ensure successful delivery.

Infrastructure Operations

• Manage and maintain regional IT infrastructure including: Microsoft 365 Azure Cloud Windows Server Active Directory DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Virtualization platforms Enterprise storage and backup solutions
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity.
• Ensure infrastructure availability and reliability across APAC locations.
• Manage system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.

Cloud & Modern Workplace

• Support Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including: Exchange Online Teams SharePoint Online OneDrive
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Network & Security

• Support enterprise networking technologies: LAN/WAN SD-WAN VPN Wireless infrastructure Firewalls
• Support security platforms including: Microsoft Defender Suite Conditional Access Identity and Access Management Endpoint Security
• Assist with security investigations and remediation activities.

Incident & Problem Management

• Act as Level 3 infrastructure escalation support.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Participate in major incident management activities.

Vendor & Service Management

• Manage infrastructure service providers and vendors.
• Review service performance against SLAs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and support escalations.

Governance & Compliance

• Maintain infrastructure documentation and standards.
• Support audit, compliance, and security requirements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

• 6-10 years of IT Infrastructure experience.
• Minimum 3 years supporting regional or multi-site environments.
• Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience working with managed service providers and external vendors.
