Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Bus Operating System (BOS), a comprehensive ecosystem of modern bus management integrating smart validators, electronic ticketing machines, driver manifests and a central command dashboard. Your primary objective will be to expand our customer base among bus operators in Malaysia, drive revenue growth and maintain existing customer portfolio by delivering quality service and fostering long-term loyalty. Key responsibilities include:

Sales Planning and Execution

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan through a deep understanding of the market and competitor insights, proactive prospecting and structured pipeline management.
  • Conduct regular sales calls and presentations to effectively communicate product features, address customer requirements and secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, closing and post-sale relationship management.

Customer Account Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual, operational and service-related matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships by understanding customers evolving needs, anticipating challenges and providing tailored solutions that strengthen collaboration.
  • Monitor customer payment schedules, proactively follow up on outstanding invoices and coordinate with the Finance team to ensure timely settlement of accounts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Technical, IT, Finance, strategic partners and/or government agencies for proposal preparation and project implementation.

Act as the liaison between internal and external parties and facilitate cross-departmental meetings.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, logistics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in sales and customer account management preferably in public transportation, transport industry, logistics or equivalent.
  • Experienced and results-oriented with demonstrated sales track record, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster long-term partnership.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate well with team members.
  • Experience in dealing with government agencies will be an added advantage.
  • Own a transport, valid driving license and willing to travel.
